Booking Officer

The Role

To take calls directly from Members who wish to book on a trip and answer any queries they may have. Update the trip manifest accordingly and share it with the relevant Driver and Passenger Escort who are scheduled for the trip.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take direct Member calls and pick up answerphone messages in a timely manner
  • Record passenger bookings according to local protocols
  • Answer queries, which may come from prospective members, passengers, and other divisions.
  • When needed, re-direct calls to other, more relevant parties to ensure the accurate answering of calls outside the scope of the booking office.
  • Make outbound calls to passengers to confirm bookings, trip amendments and cancellations.
  • Create trip manifests and provide to the scheduled trip driver and escort, in advance.
